Fforest Mountain Shop

At Fforest Mountain Barn Retreat we have an ecological market garden, our ‘food fforest’ on site growing a wide range of vegetable, flowers and herbs. Our produce is grown without any pesticides or herbicides, from organic seeds, using methods to try to maximise nutrient density. We were organically certified in 2025. Our goal is ‘beyond organic’, perfecting the mineral balance in the soil, soaking seeds in a microbiome mix before planting, and other practices to optimise the nutrient density of plants. We sell our garden produce to visiting chefs catering for groups and retreats staying at Fforest Barn. We also sell seasonal vegetable boxes visitors can either enjoy during their stay or to take a taste of Fforest Barn home with them. In the Summer months (from May-September) we can offer a selection of beautifully arranged cut flowers. We have a flock of free range laying hens if you wish to purchase a carton of eggs.
