The weather is perfect from July/August to February/early March then it’s getting hot with rains in April/June.
Recommendation: From the UK get the BA flight from Heathrow (leaves at 9.45am arrives at 9.30pm – 3 hour difference), stay at the excellent Four Points hotel in the airport. They will meet you at arrivals and also drop you off at domestic terminal for 1 hour flight to Lamu with JamboJet at 9am. The flight back is at midnight so get the last flight out of Lamu and lurk at the hotel.
